The Trust welcomes new Chief Executive

The Trust's new Chief Executive, Peter Houghton, started on Monday 10 July. Peter's career spans 25 years in the NHS and the Senior Civil Service. After graduating in Classics from the University of Oxford (1981), he gained NHS operational leadership experience early in his career in both acute and mental health settings. He then moved into regional strategy and planning roles before holding chief executive positions in first the Eastern Region and then the Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire Strategic Health Authority. Before joining the Trust he was at the Department of Health, as Director of the National Leadership Network for Health and Social Care.
