Information about this service
Service offered:

This is a therapeutic community which provides intensive residential group therapy for adults aged between 18 and 60 years. Currently the residential therapeutic community is not available due to the low numbers of residents and referrals. The situation may change if enough referrals are received, so please call the team to discuss this if you feel your client needs a residential service.

Our team is experienced in carrying out assessment, liaison, supervision and training.  Most of the team have been working as part of the Henderson Service for many years and are experts in working with clients with complex personality disorder.

The team can offer a combination of the services listed below, as chosen by the referrer and client:

  • Specialist assessments
  • Individual client-focussed advice
  • Work with other teams to provide a liaison service where specialist personality disorder advice and support is needed
  • Training, supervision and consultation
  • Supporting ex-residents
  • Assessment for potential residential treatment if referral numbers allow
  • Residential therapeutic community if numbers allow
