Service users and carers

The Welfare Benefits team

The Welfare Benefits team are Trust employees who assist and advise service users and carers on issues relating to benefits. Independent of the Department for Work & Pensions, we are a team of specialist welfare benefits advisers dealing with all queries including representing at appeals and further. For the year 2004 – 2005 we generated an estimated income of over £5 million for the residents of our catchment boroughs: Wandsworth, Merton and Sutton.

We have our main office at Springfield Hospital and outreach advisers at Queen Mary’s Hospital and Sutton Hospital available to assist you.

You are welcome to telephone us, visit us at Springfield, Queen Mary’s or Sutton Hospitals or write to us. See below for our address, telephone numbers and opening times.
