Services provided: As part of the National Association of Mental Health, the charity raises awareness and gives support in Richmond. This is through providing information on mental health issues. For tenants and service users, Mind is there to help with managing their daily living. It also provides a supportive social network as well as aiming to improve the quality of life for those suffering from mental illness by helping make informed decisions on matters important to them.

Services provided: This is a confidential advice and information service for disabled people, their families, friends, carers and professionals. The organisation helps those in the Richmond upon Thames area and offers advice on any aspects of disability including benefits, form filling, holidays, medical health and mobility. This is a unique service run by volunteers who are either disabled or have a direct experience of disability.

Services provided: Richmond Crossroads Care is a local charity set up in 1987 and affiliated to the Crossroads Association. Its purpose is to provide practical and emotional support in the form of respite breaks for carers, including those looking after older people and children who have a physical/sensory disability or who are chronically ill. Services include: home- based respite breaks, a café for people affected by dementia, two Saturday clubs for children with special needs and a Macmillan/Crossroads palliative care service.

Services provided: Richmond Carers Centre is a local charity that is affiliated to Princess Royal Trust for Carers. Services include: confidential information, support and advice to any carer living in the borough in order to help improve their quality of life and to prevent them from reaching crisis point. There are also support groups for adults and young carers, complementary therapies and counselling, regular social activities and leisure events, a breaks service for young carers as well as black and minority ethnic carers. In addition there is a drop-in service and helpline.

Services provided: Homes for Life gives long-term residential provision for adults with learning disabilities living in Richmond. They provide support activities where small groups of people are supported by staff to experience an overnight stay away from the family home. They are also a source for individual and general support as well as information.
