Services provided: Merton Mind provides a sophisticated service for people with dementia. This includes: counselling, group work, day respite, and home care. There is also 2 day centres for clients who are referred from CMHTs, one in Wimbledon and one in Mitcham.as well as a service for the elderly at the Cumberland Day Centre, Whitford Gardens, Mitcham, CR4 4AB for those suffering from dementia
In addition we have self-help groups, a user involvement project, a support service for carers of confused elderly people, a counselling service for people with physical and sensory disabilities. The group has recently launched a new social inclusion project for people with mental health difficulties.

Services provided: CareConnect is a partnership between the voluntary sector in Merton, Sutton, Merton Primary Care Trust and Merton Social Services. This organisation offers free, confidential, impartial information on a wide range of health, social and community care issues for people living, working or studying in Merton. For various reasons this service cannot be offered to children.
