Performance of the Trust

This section contains surveys, reports and declarations about the performance of the Trust and how it monitors its services. It includes:

• Feedback on inpatient user experience for individual wards,
• A Key Performance Indicator report of ongoing performance monitoring for the Trust,
• The Annual Trust Plan explains the Trusts proposed service plans and strategic goals,
• Safeguarding Children and the arrangements in place to ensure children receive safe care at the Trust.

Quality Accounts 2010-2011

Quality Accounts are annual reports to the public from providers of NHS healthcare services. They provide additional accountability about the quality of an organisation's services.

This is the second Quality Account to be published by the Trust.  We hope it enables readers to access information about what the Trust has done well in 2010-11, how we plan to improve and what our priorities are for 2011-12.

The Trust is required to include specific completed statements, as set out in regulations.  We have added additional information which we hope is interesting and useful.

We have also incorporated comments received from our stakeholders and would like to thank those who contributed.  We welcome feedback on our Quality Account.  If you would like to submit feedback or make suggestions for the content of future reports please contact claire.alexander@swlstg-tr.nhs.uk

Surveys of inpatient care - Care Quality Commission

This survey is not part of the Trust's publication scheme, it is highlighted elswhere on our website in the section About us, see Surveys of inpatient care.

It contains the Care Quality Commission (CQC) survey 2009; this benchmark report contains all scored results for South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust, compared with all other trusts, for the mental health acute inpatient service users survey.

Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Report 2nd Quarter 2009 to 2010

This report provides ongoing performance monitoring for the South West London and St Georges NHS Mental Health Trust, including national requirements and local strategic priorities.

It provides assurance to the Trust Board on the position of the services and development of services towards the organisation strategic goals.

Safeguarding Children Declaration

In July 2010 the Trust published a declaration about how the Board assures themselves that safeguarding arrangements are in place. The Trust Board continues to take its safeguarding children responsibilities very seriously. NHS London has requested an update on activity since the declaration.
