Service users and carers

Back of an envelope poem

21 May 2006

I don’t fear anything

Except when no-one will hear me sing.

I stand on the brink of wondering

Whether I should think

And put my thoughts in ink.

Someone else can read them.

They might need them

To teach them something new

When there is nothing left to do.

What you learn will be true.

Why not learn about plumbing?

When you are plumbing the depths

You’ll have no regrets.

When you wept with us

Water dripped from your eyes

Like a tap.

If you don’t learn plumbing..

Why not learn rap?
