Who we are

We offer music therapy, dance movement psychotherapy and art psychotherapy. 

Who is the service for

Group and individual arts psychotherapy is provided in the specialist clinic at Springfield Hospital. Some groups run in community venues to widen access outside of the hospital environment.

What you can expect

After referral you will be invited to an initial assessment session. A follow up assessment session will usually be made before the potential planning of a series of 12 individual or 20 group therapy sessions

Referrals

Referrals come from Wandsworth Community Mental Health Teams and Wandsworth Specialist Services (Complex Needs, Early Intervention and Rehab), wards and other organisations such as ‘Wandsworth Mind’ or ‘Your Way’. Clients may request arts psychotherapies or referrers may feel the client would benefit from this psychological therapy which incorporates non-verbal and creative approaches.
