Who we are

This is a Complex Needs Service or CNS is a tertiary service for people with personality disorder.

Who is the service for

The service is offered to people aged 18 to 65 with a personality disorder who present with potentially lethal self-harm, or have marked and destructive difficulties in relationships (especially risk of harm to children), or display dangerous multi-impulsive behaviours.


Patients must live in Sutton or Merton, or who have a Sutton or Merton GP.

What you can expect

Anyone who uses our services first gets an assessment of their mental health needs and a plan of the care and support they will receive. They will also will also have one named person who co-ordinates their care and support. This person will be called either a named professional  or,  if your needs are more complex,  a care co-ordinator. This person should be your main point of contact.  You can speak to them about how you treament and support are going.

Referrals

Referrals are accepted from Sutton and Merton RST's and DART's, and also from Merton CDAS. Referrals are not accepted from GP's, social services, clients or the client's families

In the majority of cases clients are discussed at the borough care pathway meeting before a referral is made to the Complex Needs Service. Referrals are made by email to Ms. Farzeen Huq
