Kingston and Richmond Assessment Team

Who we are

 

We are the Single Point of Access for referrals to secondary mental health services for patients living in Kingston and Richmond. We screen, triage and carry out initial assessments for patients referred to the Kingston and Richmond Recovery Support Teams, The Kingston and Richmond Early Intervention, Adult ADHD Teams, The Kingston and Richmond Older People RST and Memory Service.

This service is for adults aged 18-74 who live in the Kingston and Richmond area.

Our opening hours

 Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.00pm

Support for service users and carers outside of these hours is accessed via borough-based protocols with the Crisis and Home Treatment Teams.

What you can expect

The Kingston and Richmond Assessment Team screen, triage and carry out initial assessments for patients referred to the Kingston and Richmond Recovery Support Teams, The Kingston and Richmond Early Intervention, Adult ADHD Teams, The Kingston and Richmond Older People RST and Memory Service.

Referrals

Most referrals are made by GPs, social workers and self referral by clients or their families.

The duty worker will contact client or their referrer to offer a routine/urgent appointment and will provide prompt and expert triage and advice after assessment.
