This conference will address the needs of all those who live with and/or support someone with drug or alcohol problems. The impact of one person's addiction on all those around them (spouses, partner, parents, siblings, employers, friends) is considerable and many carers suffer as a result.

This conference will provide a forum for discussion and will be the first of its kind in the Trust.

  • carers, who will share their stories
  • Deirdre Boyd (writer/editor)
  • Viv Saunders, Community Alcohol Service
  • Kath Lovell, Director of Borderline UK (Personality Plus)
  • Phil Partridge, Carers Lead, London Development Centre
  • Martin Weegmann, Consultant Clinical Psychologist

This conference is FREE to attend, including refreshments. (Lunch can be purchased from the canteen.)
