Inpatient and day-patient treatment programmes

Every patient has an individual treatment programme which often includes helping them to realise their optimum level of independence.

The various professionals from different disciplines work closely together in a group. Individual therapy is also offered, depending on the needs of each patient. This treatment plan involves a varied programme of care, education and therapy. Rehabilitation, including training and work experience, is offered at the unit and in the community. The Trust works in partnership with other deaf organisations such as RNID who support and provide training for our service users. Leisure activities are organised as part of the therapeutic programme.

Patients have access to the Patients' Council and Springfield Advice and Law Centre for which an interpreter is made available.
