Adult service

Dr Jim Cromwell, Chartered Clinical Psychologist

The team aims to diagnose and treat the full range of mental illness, behavioural and psychological problems. Individual treatment plans are developed with each patient.

Inpatient and community service
Inpatient and care homes services are generally for people who are severely mentally ill. 

Staff on the community team visit people in their homes, assess them, and support them in the community.

Outpatient services

Many Deaf patients can benefit from a wide range of treatments in an outpatient environment, such as:

  • Psychiatric assessments
  • Analytic psychotherapy and counselling
  • Behavioural and cognitive therapies
  • Group therapy
  • Work and living skills therapy
  • Language therapy
  • Arts therapies

The full range of staff are available for outpatient assessment and treatment.
