Education and training

Training and education is vital to the development of our staff and their job satisfaction. As a Trust, we promote the development of our staff and aim to offer them multidisciplinary skills.

We have close links with Kingston University and St George’s University of London joint Faculty of Health and Social Care Sciences. The faculty offers our staff a continued professional development programme. This allows individuals to reach their full potential while ensuring that staff are equipped with the skills to meet the demands of service users.

A wide range of clinical and professional training is available for:

  • nurses
  • doctors
  • psychiatrists
  • therapists
  • psychotherapists
  • psychologists.

Flexible training

Many courses offer students the option to train on a flexible or part-time basis. This enables them to combine training with other commitments.

Research training

Research is important for a variety of reasons, such as improving our services and contributing to the wider academic and scientific community. We provide research training for all interested staff and are committed to developing multidisciplinary research. We organise regular research seminars, and provide access to postgraduate research qualifications.
