How we make decisons


This lists our decision making processes and records of decisions.

Board papers

Agenda, supporting papers and minutes are available online dating back to 2005. Annual Reports are available online dating back to 2002. Minutes and papers of other internal meeting where decisions are made about the provision of services, excluding material that is properly considered to be private, are available on request.

Patient and public involvement strategy (PPI)

Also includes public consultations (e.g. concerning closures or variations of services).

Available on request, including any consultation exercises, with access to the consultation papers or about where the papers can be obtained. This also includes information relating to the results of consultation exercises.

Internal communications guidance and criteria used for decision making

These include our process systems and key personnel.

To help the public understand how decisions are made the Trust is keen to be as open as possible. This includes providing access to internal instructions, manuals and guidelines for dealing with all aspects of the business of running the Trust. Any appropriate disclosures will be made on request but this will not include information that might damage the operation of the Trust e.g. details of security system, security operations etc.
