About us

Race equality

South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust is committed to providing high-quality mental health and social services to a diverse community. We serve a local population of nearly one million people across the five boroughs of Merton, Sutton, Wandsworth, Richmond and Kingston. We actively promote racial equality for our staff and service users.

Our Race Equality Scheme acts to ensure that our services are tailored to the needs of the populations we serve. We aim to eliminate discrimination and inequalities to ensure that our services are accessible and effective and our staff feel valued.

A new Race Equality Scheme is currently in progress and will be published at the end of April 2009.
