Executive Directors


Ian Wilson CBE, Interim Chief Executive

Ian Wilson

Ian Wilson joined the Trust as Interim Chief Executive in January 2012. 

He has extensive experience in both the NHS and local government.  Most recently, he was Interim Chief Executive at Haringey PCT and Interim Chief Operating Officer at South London Healthcare NHS Trust.  Prior to that he was Interim Chief Executive at Bromley Hospitals NHS Trust and Queen Mary Sidcup NHS Trust, having previously served as Interim Chief Executive and Director of Social Services at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.






Mike Naylor, Director of Finance and Deputy Chief Executive

Mike NaylorMike has been within the NHS for the past 30 years, the last 20 of which have been as Director of Finance of Mental Health, Acute and Community Health organiastions.

Mike started his training in the financial services sector and now has extensive experience at all levels of the NHS.  He is a member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants as well as a member of several Audit Committees outside the NHS.  Mike Naylor was appointed Director of Finance and Deputy Chief Executive in March 2011 having been interim Director of Finance at the Trust since August 2010.







Kim Goddard, Director of Nursing and Operations

Kim Goddard

Kim Goddard was appointed as Director of Nursing and Operations in February 2011 having previously been Director of Nursing and Governance since June 2007. Prior to her first Executive Director appointment, Kim was Acting Director of Corporate Affairs and has held a number of posts in the field of clinical governance and compliance.

She has worked for the Trust since her appointment as a staff nurse in the emergency clinic in December 1988.

Kim trained as a general nurse at St Georges Hospital before training as a mental health nurse at The Bethlem Royal and The Maudsley Hospitals.







Dr Ben Nereli, Medical Director

Ben NereliBen Nereli was appointed as Medical Director for the Trust on 1 Nov 2007, following three years as Medical Director at Kent and Medway Partnership Trust and its predecessor organisations. After qualifying as a doctor from Bristol University Medical School in 1983 Ben lived in the USA, where he obtained a Master of Public Health degree from Yale University. He then spent some years in France, where he worked as epidemiologist and obtained an MBA in 1989.

After four years in the French pharmaceutical industry, Ben returned to Bristol to specialise in psychiatry. He specialised in general adult psychiatry and substance misuse psychiatry, and has been a consultant psychiatrist for ten years. In addition to his role as Medical Director, he provides clinical sessions in alcohol treatment services.







Ian Fleming, Director of Workforce and PartnershipsIan Fleming

Ian Fleming was appointed to the new role of Director of Workforce and Partnerships in April 2011 following 9 months as the Trusts interim Director of HR. Immediately prior to this, he was Deputy Director of Workforce at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust.  Ian has worked in the NHS for all of his working life, starting out in General Administration before moving into Personnel in 1988. 

He progressed to become Director of Personnel at Lifecare NHS Trust from 1997 to 1999, and then spent 9 years working as an independent HR Consultant in the NHS, including some time working on the Agenda for Change project here at SW London and St George's MH NHS Trust.

Angela Attah, Director of Corporate Affairs and Trust Secretary

Angela AttahAngela Attah joined the Trust in September 2008, having been Company Secretary/Head of Corporate Affairs at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children since January 2004.  Prior to joining the NHS she worked on the periphery of direct healthcare for 7 years, at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, holding several roles including Head of Central Administration.

Angela is legally qualified and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
