Our purpose is to provide safe, effective and efficient mental health care and other services for the benefit of the communities we serve.
We are required by the Health and Social Care Act 2008 to develop and publish statement of purpose. This statement includes the Trust's aims and objectives, the kinds of services we provide and the range of needs which those services are intended to meet.
Our statement of purpose has been approved by the Trust Board and is checked by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), who monitor our performance. If we make any revisions to the statement we must provide written details to the CQC within 28 days of the revision.
To achieve this purpose, we will work in partnership with those who use our services, their relatives, carers and friends, and other stakeholders, to meet the following strategic objectives:
